The Ballad of Sonia The Skunk, Written by Cormac Myles, is a one-act comedy play that follows a newly retired couple as they defend their bungalow from an invasive skunk.

Join us in the front room, with a gorgeous red leather sofa, and some grossly erotic dance moves. A space where dream-like depictions of a shark called Wullie, and a next door neighbour rumoured to be local drag queen ‘Poke McGusset’ don’t bat an eyelid.

On its surface level, this is a high camp, chaotic-comedy, set in the from room of a bungalow. Although, if you look beneath the surface, the work explores the fear of growing old too quickly, being forever-young, and is a wider-exploration of contemporary working class Scotland…through the lens of those with a bus pass and a bungalow.

A Point5 Theatre production.
